Plot Summary
Filmed in gorgeous high definition video, Sharkwater will take you into the most shark-filled corners of the world’s oceans, exposing not only the true nature of sharks themselves, but the way human interference has affected this noble predator and turned it into our prey, its population slowly dwindling.
In an effort to protect sharks, Stewart teams up with a rogue environmentalist and sets off on an unbelievable adventure, to battle shark poachers on the high seas across the globe. About the Director
Rob Stewart
Rob Stewart is a Toronto native who got started on his way to making the successful film, Sharkwater, at the age of 13 when he began to experiment with underwater photography. Stewart has worked as chief photographer for the Canadian Wildlife Federation’s series of magazines and was an award-winning freelance journalist. Four years of filming and travel through 15 different countries resulted in his debut documentary, Sharkwater, which has won numerous awards at film festivals worldwide.

Sharkwater is an amazing film. The footage is stunningly beautiful and the story is dramatic, strong, and as true as it gets. Sharkwater will open your eyes. I loved it and I think it's a must see for everybody.
